Hiking in Yosemite Park

After a rough night we brushed our teeth in a little bathroom without light and drove to Yosemite Valley. 

We eate our breakfast in a nice restaurant next to Yosemite Lodge.

Then we took the Mist Trail to the beautiful waterfalls.

It was very exhausting, everything was just arround the next bend. ;) because of the drough in California the waterfalls where not as big as usually and there was only little mist.

On our way we met lots of squirrels,...

... Birds...

.... and even a raccoon in the evening.

After a late lunch we visited the Indian Village and the museum.

On our way back to the Valley we wanted to have a shower in a public bathroom. But first we stopped and wanted to watch the climbers on the rocks. But there weren't any. Maybe it was too hot these day.

 

After the shower we had a little dinner and then played cards again - Mau Mau (Michael won in the first round after je had not won yesterday) and then Schnauz.

Before we went to sleep in our tent we watched the stars. In Yosemite you can see the stars very good because there are no city lights at all.
